TM30 Registration in Thailand

The TM30 is a regulation that requires landlords or property owners to notify the Thai government when a foreigner is staying on their property. This process ensures that immigration authorities are aware of the foreigner’s location.

Registration Process:

You or your landlord can register for TM30 online through the following link: https://tm30.immigration.go.th/tm30/#/external/security/register/reg-web

Documents Needed for TM30 Registration:

1. House Registration Document: A copy of the house registration (Tabien Baan) for the accommodation.

2. ID Card: A copy of the Thai National ID card of the property owner (if Thai) or a copy of their passport (if the owner is a foreigner).

3. Foreigner’s Passport: A copy of the foreigner’s passport staying at the accommodation. While this does not need to be uploaded, the information should match everything on the TM30 registration.

Important Notes:

  • The school does not need your TM30 on the day of your registration.

  • However, you should secure your TM30 as soon as possible because all visa processes at immigration require it, including:

                        – Tourist or Visa Exemption extensions

                        – ED Visa applications:

                        – ED Visa extensions

90 DAYS REPORT

REMINDER:
90 Days Report is the student’s responsibility. The school will not assist with this process.

What is the 90-Day Report?
In Thailand, the 90-day report is a requirement for foreigners staying in the country on long-term visas, including ED (Education) visas. This means if you’ve been in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days, you must report your current address to immigration. The report is required every 90 days, even if your address hasn’t changed.

How to File the 90-Day Report
You can file the 90-day report in one of the following ways:

  1. In person: Visit the Bangkok Immigration Office at the Chaengwattana Government Complex. Bring your passport and the TM47 form.
  2. Online: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/login (service availability may vary). The online submission should be done 15 days before the due date.

Documents Required
• TM47 form (available at Immigration or downloadable from the immigration website)
• Passport (including a copy of the photo page, visa page, and latest entry stamp)
• TM30: For information on how to obtain a valid TM30, please refer to this link. https://www.sandee.ac.th/tm30/

Important Notes
• Fines for Late Reporting: If you do not report within the required timeframe, there is a fine of 2,000 to 5,000 THB.
• Leaving Thailand: If you leave Thailand and return, the 90-day count resets and you’ll need to start the process again from your re-entry date.
