Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on the 31st of October. The tradition originated from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. The evening before was known as “All Hallows Eve”, and later “Halloween”.
At Sandee Thai Language School, our students did Trick-or-Treat and they received candies as the “treat”. Three of our students also shared their thoughts about their experiences in studying Thai at Sandee while wearing Halloween headbands and shirt.
